Industrial Information Technology Department

The department allows students to acquire practical knowledge in industrial robotics, vision systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, local area networks, in automation as well as in electrical and electronic industrial processes along with the ability to master modelling and simulating equipments used in electronics.

The department's mission is to work on embedded electronic systems (on-board computers) on microprocessors, micro-controllers, signal processors, programmable logic components, real-time operating systems and communication bus.

The department's mission is to provide academic training that culminates in receiving:

  • A License Applied in Industrial Computing (LAIC)
  • A Professional Master in Autonomous Systems and Embedded Communications (ASEC)
